Welcome! I’m so glad you’re here.

At Bridges to Thrive Counseling & Wellness, I work with folks carrying the weight of big, heavy things, and help them move toward healing in a way that feels human. Wherever you find yourself, you’re not alone, and you don’t have to sort it all out before walking through our door. I offer a space where trauma, anxiety, grief, and shame will be met with compassion, not judgment. And where there’s also room for humor, lightness, and moments of joy. No quick fixes. Just honest, collaborative work that moves at your pace. Come as you are. Leave with a little more clarity (and maybe a Primanti sandwich coping skills analogy).

Many Paths to Thrive

Therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all. That’s why I offer a few different ways to work together, so we can find what feels right for you. Whether you’re processing trauma, feeling stuck, or just trying to make sense of things, this is a space where all parts of you are welcome.

Individual Therapy

Life gets heavy sometimes. In individual therapy, we’ll explore what’s going on beneath the surface, whether it’s anxiety, depression, stress, or old patterns that are hard to break. This is your space to be real, to be heard, and to start healing in a way that feels authentic to you.

Trauma Therapy & EMDR

Trauma, whether big or small, can leave lasting imprints. But healing is absolutely possible. Using EMDR and a trauma-informed approach, I support you in gently processing painful experiences, releasing what’s stuck, and moving forward with greater ease and freedom. We always go at your pace.

Couples Therapy

Relationships can be hard, but they’re also where so much of our joy and growth happen. In couples counseling, we’ll work on communication, connection, and understanding each other in deeper, more meaningful ways. Whether you're in crisis or just want to reconnect, we’ll navigate it together.

Insurance/Payment Options

I accept most major insurance plans, including Highmark/BCBS, UPMC Commercial, Aetna, and UnitedHealthcare. If I’m not in-network with your insurance, private pay is also an option. Feel free to email or call me to check your specific coverage.

My Approach

Research shows us that the most important part of therapy isn't always a specific technique. It's the trusting and supportive relationship that creates the safety and hope needed for change. I start here with every person, making sure that you feel understood, safe, accepted, and supported.

I incorporate approaches such as ACT, EMDR, CBT, and DBT, but above all I lead with warmth, curiosity, and genuine care. I bring a sense of joy and a holistic perspective into the therapy room, because I believe healing isn’t just about fixing what feels broken. It’s also about rediscovering what is good, true, and meaningful in your life.

You don’t have to have it all figured out to start. Wherever you are, we’ll begin there.

because joy belongs in the journey
